Dark Phoenix Review Rating: ★★★★★ (2) Dark Phoenix is the 12th film in the X-Men universe and the seventh film in the main X-Men series. I saw the Rotten Tomatoes score and I was worried about this film. I wanted this film to be good quite badly. I really like this cast and wanted this film to be good without the dodgy Bryan Singer. However, I did not like this film and was massively disappointed with this film. First of, at the beginning of the film, it just didn't feel cut right to me. Everything was too jumpy and just didn't feel cut right. The scenes alongside each other didn't seem right to me, I don't really know how to put this into common speech and probably won't make sense to most people. Anyway, another problem I had with this film is the constant music. It took away from the drama and the acting. Why have Oscar-nominated actors and actresses if the tension is undercut with music.
