Phase 4 tierlist

Im going to whizz through these as this has already taken me too much time and effort.

S: Spiderman No Way Home. An Almost perfect film with the only drawback being the slow nature of the first half. Willem Dafo is fucking amazing and the chemistry of the Spidermen is amazing and makes me wanting a Spiderman 4 and an Amazing Spiderman 3. I thought Endgame would be the best audience I would be apart of but this film came very close. Everything I wanted and more and completely exceeded my expectation.

A: Loki. Probably the best of the tv shows so far and it was a thrill from start to finish. Loki and Morbius were great together and Tom Hiddleston killed it as Loki. They managed after Endgame to get Loki back to his character development throughout the years. Introducing Kang and Lady Loki were great ideas and well executed. Also saw the debut of Frog Thor one of the greatest Marvel characters and can't wait to see him have his own solo series which is inevitably coming.

Hawkeye. As of writing the finale comes out tomorrow and I think this series has been great. I love Hawkeye and he actually got his just deserves finally. Hailee Steinfeld is good and she is clearly being set up as a Young Avengers leader. The tease of Dinoffrio as Kingpin offers big questions for the future of the MCU and these questions can only be positive and intriguing. Hopefully Kate Bishop doesn't get sidelined, like Hawkeye did for a lot of the early MCU.

B: Shang-Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings. This film was ruined for me as there were idiots who wouldn't shut up in the cinema. However, the choreography was very good, the mandarin was very good albeit a bit one-dimensional. The end fight was a bit off a shock with the weird ass dragons and Wong is a great addition to any film. Although I have no idea why Abomination was in there. Didn't really add anything to the MCU and was okay but not great.

Wandavision. Started of slow, great in the middle and the end was awful. The beginning was slow but was an introduction to the characters and the scenario was something that has never been done before. There were so many scenarios and theories being lobbed about and I think this actually hurt the film as none really came into fruition. The end fight was awful with two characters shooting lasers in the sky and this really hurt the series for me. Agatha and Scarlet Witch are great in this and truly iconic.

What If. Another great idea ripped straight from the comics. There are some good episodes in this and some very much less so. It has the last performance of Chadwick which is sad and makes the episode better with his presence. The Doctor Strange was good at the time but gets better with a greater chance of appearing in the movies. Not the greatest first series but being animated the opportunities for this are endless.

C: Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Not bad but I don't really care about Falcon or Winter Soldier. Teased a possible conversation of race but bottled it, which is a common trend for marvel films. Felt a bit disjointed and that could be down to cutting out of the pandemic storyline according to rumors. Baron Zemo is a welcome return and was a a lot more interesting comparatively to Civil War. Sharon Carter was meant to be a big tease and a big question but I do not care about her so was wasted for me.

Black Widow. Look this film isn't awful as some people says it is. It came out of the wrong time completely and just felt like a waste of this character. If this came out before infinity war, I think it is a lot better regarded. The only thing it slightly adds to the MCU is Yelena in Florence Pugh.
